So there it is again: the Light in you. A recurring theme that I like to speak of ~ the Light within. Not just a light, but an Astonishing Light.
"The astonishing light of your own being."
The entire poem by Hafiz reads:
One day the sun admitted
I am just a shadow.
I wish I could show you
the infinite incandescence
that has cast my brilliant image!
I wish I could show you
when you are lonely or in darkness
the Astonishing Light
of your own Being!
You are of extraordinary brilliance and beauty so SHINE ON! The Light is not reserved for just a select few or for only the spiritually advanced. The Light is within each of us. The deeper you go within the closer you get to the Light and it will shine again for you even if you feel like it never will. Trust in your Divine Nature and trust in whatever is unfolding for you.
Honor the Light within

Khwāja Shams-ud-Dīn Muhammad Hāfez-e Shīrāzī was a Persian poet (1315-1389 Shiraz, Iran) whose collected works are regarded as a pinnacle of Persian literature.
